Born in Namibia and based in Europe, I create paintings, sculptures, and mixed-media works that explore the delicate boundary between memory, dreams, emotion, and the unseen. My practice is rooted in introspection, drawing inspiration from personal experiences, childhood imagination, and a deep fascination with the mysteries that exist beyond ordinary perception.

Influenced by the atmosphere and aesthetics of the 17th and 18th centuries, my work combines contemporary expression with historical echoes. Rather than focusing on realistic representation, I seek to create spaces where figures, symbols, and fragments of narrative emerge from layers of texture and subdued tones.

Working primarily with a restrained palette, I am interested in creating a sense of stillness, mystery, and contemplation. Faces, objects, and forms often appear suspended between presence and disappearance, as though emerging from memory, dream, or another realm beyond the visible. Through symbolism and suggestion rather than direct explanation, my work explores themes of innocence, identity, transformation, and the hidden connections between the physical and spiritual worlds.

Each piece begins as an intuitive process. Guided by imagination, emotion, and a sensitivity to the unseen, I allow the work to unfold organically, revealing meanings and symbols that often surprise even me. The creative process becomes a dialogue between the tangible and the intangible, the known and the mysterious.

Through my work, I aim to create contemplative spaces where viewers can pause, reflect, and reconnect with wonder, mystery, and the possibility that there is more to existence than what can be seen.
